MMQG Charity Sew-In Day

Saturday, November 11, 2017   9am - 6pm
13170 Flamingo Court, Apple Valley

Come and sew for as short or as long as you can. We have many projects that need to be layered, quilted and bound. Six machines can be set up or you can bring your own. We have lots of batting and can spray baste in the garage!

Potluck for snacks and lunch meal. (I will put together a big crockpot of chili!)

Get ready to push your creative boundaries at our meeting this Thursday! 

Teams will be formed, given a mystery basket of supplies, and then will have 90 minutes to produce a quilt top (don't worry nothing crazy, minimum dimensions are 24x36"). There will be new challenges and twists to keep you on your toes!

We can't wait to see what gets created!

Linden Hill is known as one of the most elegant retreat destinations in Minnesota and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Built in 1898, the Musser Mansion is complete with actual time-period furnishings and is like a step into a “living museum”.  Even the bedrooms are decorated as if the family still lived there.  It overlooks the Mississippi River and is walking distance from historic downtown Little Falls.
·         24 individual work stations fully furnished with tables and comfortable chairs
·         Separate ironing stations, design wall
·         Free wireless internet
·         An abundance of electrical outlets
·         Lighting  for crafting and detailed quilting
·         Overnight accommodations for up to 25 

October 12-15 – Thursday through Sunday
Arrive by 3pm on the Thursday, leave by 12 Noon on Sunday

$130 for MMQG members        $180 for non-members
Pay your total payment at one time as you reserve your space. Payment may be made at https://squareup.com/store/mmqg . Non-members may join MMQG for the yearly $40 membership fee and attend as a member! Membership payment may also be made at the same website.

More information regarding parking, potluck or individual meals, rooms, local quilt shops, etc. will be emailed in September to all registered attendees.
