Today's post is about a dirty little word (or, more accurately, acronym): UFOs. None of us like to talk about them, but we all have at least a few in our closet. I have more than I would like to admit in the interwebs for anyone to see, but below is a picture of some of them.
There's a great group on flickr, though, that is helping me plug away at all those projects, CTP: Project UFO.
The group was created by Angela of Cut to Pieces, and we set goals for ourselves each month. Some of us are more active during some months than others, as life ebbs and flows, but we have a really nice little group.
It's a lot of fun to see a project evolve from something a particular quilter didn't care for to something she loves, like the one below that Angela posted.
Or see a friend change her mind on quilting design to absolutely beautiful effect, like Melinda.
But most of all, I find it very encouraging to see people working hard on their UFOs. It inspires me to do the same.
And that feeling at the end of a project? It's priceless!
